• Structural heart case experience including TAVR, Mitraclip, PFO, ASD repair, and Watchman is required.
• Vascular case experience including peripheral run-offs, EVAR, and TEVAR is required.
• Adult coronary experience is required.
• ARRT (R), RCIS, or RCVT certification is required (license if applicable).
• BLS and ACLS certification are required.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with adult coronary and structural heart experience for a 13-week contract in Kansas City, KS.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 11 procedure rooms, including 2 Hybrid ORs
• Cath Lab utilizes 4-5 rooms per day; EP Lab operates separately
• Supports 4 service lines: Interventional Cardiology, Heart Failure, Structural, and Vascular
• Typical caseload of 25-30 cases per day with 1 RN and 3 Techs
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 0700-1700
• No floating required
• Weekend on-call approximately once every 4 weeks (may vary)
• On-call approximately 4-6 shifts per 4-week period, split between primary and secondary call teams
• Primary weekday call covers 1730-2100, secondary covers 2100-0700
• Weekend call: primary covers Friday 1730-Sunday 1700, secondary covers Friday 1730-Monday 0700
• Holiday coverage as needed based on unit needs

Requirements

• Cath Lab experience with interventional and diagnostic left heart caths required

Additional Information

• Will attend a 2-day facility orientation on the first Monday and Tuesday of the assignment
• Credentialing documents due the Monday prior to start date
• CBC, drug screen, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Nicotine-free facility
• COVID-19 vaccine or religious/medical exemption required
• Candidates must be willing to start within 3 weeks or less
