Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Supply Chain Professional II to lead travel procurement, supplier performance, and spend initiatives across projects. You will collect data, report on KPIs, and collaborate with teams to drive value for the organization.

The role supports travel management and supplier’s performance, with potential for remote or flexible location. A strong background in procurement and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
• 1–4 years of Supply Chain related experience.
• Travel Management Company (TMC) experience required.
• CPSM certification preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and category management for travel procurement.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers and enable vendor opportunities.
• Coordinate bidding events and procurement of materials and services.
• Support vendor performance tracking and compliance with spend initiatives.
• Negotiate terms across multiple suppliers within categories.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day support and category management for travel, including supplier performance, stakeholder engagement and program administration
• Spearheads new supplier identification qualification, outreach, and enablement of new vendor opportunities
• Coordinates custom bidding events and procurement of materials and services
• Supports vendor performance tracking
• Ensures compliance requirements in partnership with vendors.
• Participates in pricing and terms negotiations across multiple suppliers in a category
• Manages discrepancy reconciliation with vendors
• Creates and maintains price contracts
• Provides help desk services to internal customers
• Provides periodic systems training to internal customers and suppliers
• Provides ad-hoc reporting, analysis and complete special projects as assigned
• Supports the Contract Lifestyle Management (CLM) process by coordinating contract submissions to Legal, tracking contract progress within internal systems, faciliatating communication between internal stakeholders and suppliers to address comments and revisions, and monitoring existing agreements to intiate timely renewal outreach

Qualifications

Experience/Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
• 1-4 years of Supply Chain related experience
• Prior experience with a Travel Management Company (TMC) and knowledge of Tavel as a supply chain category required
• CPSM certification preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to extract, scrub and format raw data exports
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of eProcurement or P2P Solutions preferred

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

The pay ranges from $65,000.00-$105,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
