Surgical Technologist (CVOR) Details

• Rotation: 40 hrs days/eve, 8‑hour day shifts, 8‑hour evening shifts
• Unit: Operating Room, Level II Trauma (complex community setting)
• Shift schedule: Days 7 am‑5:30 pm; 1–2 rotations to weekend (7 am‑3:30 pm) and evening (1 p‑11:30 pm) per 4-week cycle; 2–3 weekday calls per 4-week schedule
• Years of Experience Required: 1–2 years in OR
• Clinician–to–Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric
• Bed Count: 15; Census: ~30–40 patients per day
• Charting System: EPIC
• Floating Required: No
• Rotating Shifts Required: Yes (approx. 2–3 shifts every 4 weeks; weekend rotation 7 am‑3:30 pm with call 3 pm‑11:30 pm; no night calls)
• Certification Required: Surg Tech Certification
• Cardiac monitoring not required (no EKG/Telemetry)
