• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and Degree from an accredited nursing program; current State of Montana RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; 3 years of experience in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular specialty, with recent open heart recovery nursing experience; proficiency in operating advanced medical equipment including A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support; able to perform EKG interpretation and basic cardiac telemetry.
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical care, CVICU, and open heart experience.
• Additional Information: The nurse will provide comprehensive care from admission to discharge, including discharge planning, and will act as a clinical leader, supporting staff precepting. Clinical duties include managing advanced medical equipment and responding to potential deteriorations in patient condition. Cooperative teamwork with providers and healthcare staff is essential.
