Qualifications

• DEA license required.
• 6 months of experience in long-term care.
• Willingness to travel to different nursing homes within Connecticut (100%).
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet up to 6–8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Conduct cardiac stress tests and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
• Educate patients and families about cardiovascular health and medication adherence.
• Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage.
