Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Waukesha, Wisconsin. You will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac-focused care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. Travel-friendly benefits are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification, NIHSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with cardiac focus.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
