Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Roseville, CA. The role focuses on echocardiography or cardiac ultrasound, with opportunities to work independently in diverse clinical settings.

The ideal candidate has an accredited Ultrasound Tech program, 1 year of Echo Cardiovascular experience, and keeps current BLS certification. Travel benefits and support are provided by the staffing team.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent Echo Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid ultrasound license per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography using Doppler and 3-D imaging.
• Operate echocardiography equipment with advanced imaging techniques.
• Review patient history and verify orders for examinations.
• Educate patients about echocardiography procedures and address questions.
• Identify and correct imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records per policy and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain safety.
