Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) night shift position requiring an active ME or compact RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work setting is a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) in a hospital environment
• Patient population includes adult cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Travelers may be required to work every other weekend as needed
• Applicants residing within 50 miles are considered local candidates
• Direct patient care provided under supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
• Facility may call off or cancel up to three shifts per 13-week assignment without penalty
• Travelers may only work two consecutive 13-week assignments per calendar year at the facility and must take a 26-week break before returning
• Recognized holidays include Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
• Facility enforces a 50-mile radius rule for travel assignment eligibility
• Dress code and additional orientation information will be provided upon assignment
