Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Cardiac PCU RN for night shifts in a hospital setting. The role requires 2+ years of surgical telemetry experience and proficiency with Epic.

Responsibilities include care for post-open-heart and vascular patients, MI and stroke cases, and floating between sister facilities as needed. Travel nursing experience and flexibility for holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Active WA state RN license or compact license required (in hand at submission).
• Minimum 2 years of surgical telemetry experience.
• Open heart surgery and vascular (groin/radial band management) experience required.
• IV skills and NIH Stroke Scale experience required.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting.
• Care for patients with myocardial infarction, pre/post open-heart surgery, vascular surgery, CAD, heart failure, and stroke with cardiac involvement.
• Care for specialized structural heart support including VAD and TAVR patients.
