• Experienced and knowledgeable: inotropic agents / vasoactive drugs EPIC

J2 unit = Cardiac/Thorasic Surgery ICU takes the sickest patients. very high acuity. many devices: CRT, Balloon Pumps, ECMO, etc 24 bed CTICU Patient Population: Complex CT surgery patients, Heart and Lung transplants, combination of Heart/Kidney or Heart/Liver Stanford is ECMO Center of Excellence – Gold (2nd placed). We are the only unit that cares for ECMO patients Heavy on device: CRRT, IABP, Impella, LVAD, RVAD, ECMO.
