Job summary

Medical Solutions seeks a Travel Cath Lab Technologist in Grand Forks, ND for a 13-week assignment. The role involves performing general or vascular ultrasound exams, reviewing images, and ensuring accurate documentation.

You will work 40 hours per week on day shifts with travel benefits and housing support. Certification as a Sonographer or RVT, ARDMS and BLS are required, with a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

Must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or a RVT.
ARDMS certification and BLS required prior to start date.
Experience performing general or vascular ultrasound exams.

Job Description Performs general or vascular ultrasound exams. Assures that a written physician order is received prior to an exam procedure and collects pertinent information prior to the ultrasound procedure. Reviews exams on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness. Completes proper paperwork and distributes exams for interpretation. Efficiently performs all tasks within their designated room, including cleaning and stocking their room, cleaning the machine and filter, and deleting exams off the machine daily. Demonstrates regard for patients’ safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization and positioning of patient. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
