Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent experience as an Echo Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography (Doppler, 3-D imaging).
• Maintain proficiency in echocardiography equipment and advanced imaging techniques for cardiac assessments.
• Review patient history and verify orders for appropriate examinations.
• Educate patients and families about echocardiography procedures.
• Identify, correct, and document imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards.
