Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – Echo for a 13-week assignment in San Antonio, TX. You will perform echocardiography, ensure high-quality imaging, and educate patients through the procedure.

Requirements include an accredited ultrasound program, 1 year Echo CV experience, BLS, and a valid ultrasound license. Travel benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team are provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Echo Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac echocardiography using Doppler and 3-D imaging.
• Maintain equipment and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Review orders and patient history before examinations.
• Educate patients about echocardiography procedures.
• Document imaging and maintain patient records per policy.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
