Job summary

Careers On Demand seeks a Travel Cardiac Catheterization RN to provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular lab for adult and geriatric patients. You will monitor physiologic data, communicate with physicians, and assist with equipment and room readiness.

On-call 2-3 nights per week and every third weekend; BSN preferred, RN license active, and current BCLS/ACLS required; minimum one year cardio lab experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; active state RN license; current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certification; minimum one year clinical experience in Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in Clinical Care area.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the cardiovascular lab.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Communicates with physicians about patient condition.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Ensures readiness of procedure room and supplies for cardiovascular laboratory team.

About the job Travel Cardiac Catherization

$2283/Weekly Gross: $960/Week Taxable ($24/hr), $1323/Week Tax Free Stipends, Up to $600 for Travel Reimbursement Included. 56 cents per mile up to $300 each way. Paid out 2nd pay check and last pay check. Mileage calculated based on permanent address to facility address. $15/hr for Orientation Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physicians continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individua cases and insures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients conditions continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities. Requires BSN preferred; active state RN license; current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certification; minimum one year clinical experience in Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in Clinical Care area. Requires On Call 2-3 nights per week and every third weekend.
