Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. You will prepare patients, operate imaging/monitoring systems, and maintain sterile fields while supporting physicians during angioplasty, stent placement, and EP studies.

Responsibilities include monitoring hemodynamic data, ensuring patient safety, documenting procedures, managing supplies, and adhering to safety and infection

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of recent experience as Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications.
• Preferred radiologic technologist license, PALS or ENPC certifications, and other relevant licenses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, assist physicians during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and EP studies.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment, maintain sterile techniques, and ensure patient safety.
• Document procedures, manage supplies, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and execute tasks efficiently.
