Bestica is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The role supports diagnostic and interventional procedures within a fast-paced cardiovascular program, emphasizing patient safety and teamwork.

The candidate will scrub, circulate, and monitor Cath Lab and IR cases, operate imaging equipment, and assist with device preparation and troubleshooting while on call.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced cardiovascular and IR program. This role supports both diagnostic and interventional procedures, with a strong focus on patient safety, technical excellence, and teamwork.

Cath Lab Procedures Include

• Left and right heart catheterizations
• Pacemaker insertions
• Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)
• Impella device placement and support

Interventional Radiology Procedures Include

• GI bleed embolizations
• Pulmonary embolism thrombectomies
• Kyphoplasties
• Drain placements
• Port placements
• Additional IR procedures as required

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during Cath Lab and IR procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields
• Operate imaging equipment and ancillary devices
• Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting
• Respond to emergent cases while on call
