Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced cardiac care environment. The role requires strong procedural skills, sharp attention to detail, and teamwork with cardiologists and nurses.

Responsibilities include assisting with catheterization and interventional procedures, maintaining the Cath Lab, preparing patients and supplies, and ensuring documentation and patient safety. Cerner EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• CCI – RCIS or ARRT certification required
• BLS required; ALS within 90 days of start
• Cerner EMR experience preferred per facility workflow

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab, equipment, and sterile field.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment as appropriate.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection-control standards.
• Monitor procedural equipment and communicate with the clinical team.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
• Respond to urgent and emergent cardiac cases.
• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care throughout procedures.
