Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Florence, AL. The role involves scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, with 40 hours per week on a 10-hour daytime shift.

Requirements include 1 year of experience and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) CI or CCI-RCIS where applicable, plus state licensure as required. Travel experience preferred.

• 1 year of experience in Cath Lab or related role required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS; ARRT (R) CI or CCI-RCIS preferred; state licensure as required.
• Travel assignment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cath Lab rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized and ready.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures and calibrate equipment.
• Operate and QC all cath lab equipment and scrub in during procedures.
• Assist physician in maneuvering catheters and record hemodynamic data.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures and respond to urgent events.
