Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week assignment in Gastonia, North Carolina. The right RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and will assist during cardiac procedures while monitoring EKG equipment and supporting the physician.

Shifts are 10 hours, days, with 40 hours per week. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. This travel position offers a tax-free stipend and the opportunity to work with a skilled cardiovascular team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and electrophysiology.
• Maintain and monitor EKG equipment during procedures.
• Support staff during PCI and related cardiac interventions.
• Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
