Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in Petersburg, VA. The RN will provide specialized care for cardiac catheterization patients, prepare patients, assist during procedures, and monitor recovery, all while maintaining strict safety standards.

Active RN license, 1 year Cath Lab experience, and BLS/ACLS are required. Travel pay includes benefits, with recruiters available 24/7 to support your travel assignments across the country.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procedure assessments, reviewing medical history and performing physical exams.
• Assist in positioning patients and ensuring proper placement of EKG leads.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents and other devices.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment and respond to rhythm changes.
• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamics during catheterization and intervention; ensure post-procedure recovery.
• Maintain cath lab equipment and supplies, and troubleshoot as needed.
