Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The travel nurse will provide specialized cardiac catheterization care, prepare patients for procedures, assist during interventions, and monitor recovery alongside a dedicated clinical team.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS/ENPC or RCIS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of Cath Lab RN experience
• Active RN license in applicable state
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to procedures and review medical history
• Position patients and apply EKG leads
• Assist during procedures with catheter/wires/stents
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters during procedures
• Assist with arterial/venous sheath removal and patient transport
• Ensure post-procedure recovery and smooth handoff
• Maintain cath lab equipment and supply readiness
• Communicate effectively with team and patients
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
