Job summary

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Alton, Illinois. The assignment centers on STEMI care, diagnostic angiography, and interventional procedures in an acute care setting.

The role requires 2+ years Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and an active IL license. Expect 40 hours/week, 8-hour days, with rotating call and 9-hour shift notes across weekdays.

Qualifications

• Active IL nursing license or pending application.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience.
• STEMI experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with STEMI and other cardiac conditions.
• Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and interventional procedures.
• Assist in structural heart procedures and electrophysiology studies.
• Support pre/post procedural recovery.
• Work with Cath Lab techs to scrub and monitor cases.

Registered Nurse - Cath Lab | Travel | Illinois

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide care in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in STEMI and Cath Lab procedures. This position is best suited for a nurse with acute care experience who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Acute Care
• Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 9-hour shifts with one rotating day off each week; rotating weekday/weekend call coverage
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3240 (negotiable)
• Charting System: Epic
• Local Candidate Policy: Reduced rates for local candidates within 50 miles
• Shift Notes: 4 x 9-hour days with call
• Cancellation Policy: 12 hours per 13 weeks

Responsibilities
