Job Summary

A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available within an acute care hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through clinical expertise and adherence to procedural protocols.

Job Details

• Position / Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
• Shift: 4x10 Days (0700-1730), with on-call requirement (one night each week, every third weekend)
• Schedule: Days; 10 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license; ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years' experience with at least 1 year in cardiac cath lab procedures; previous charge experience preferred; Cerner charting system experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, vascular interventions, and medication administration including antiarrhythmics and thrombolytics
• Additional Responsibilities: Involves circulating and scrub procedures, transesophageal echocardiography, Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead management, and use of vascular closure systems, among others
• Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs
