The position supports a fast-paced environment with daily case volume ranging from 25 to 30 cases.

Job Details

• Position Description: Cardiovascular nurse working in the catheterization laboratory, performing procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, cardiac ablation, device implantations, and more, utilizing complex equipment and techniques.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Education Requirements: Relevant nursing license held at time of submission.
• Unit Details: Daily census of 25-30 cases with 8 procedure rooms, supporting adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license in applicable discipline, 1 year of experience in cardiac cath lab or similar environment, proficient in activated clotting time, angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, pacemaker procedures, and related interventions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EP procedures and additional advanced cardiovascular certifications.
• Additional Information: The role may require overnight, weekend, and holiday call coverage. Travelers will be expected to float to like units as needed. Brief orientation on the unit will be provided; modules are completed onsite during orientation.
