TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Lexington, Kentucky. This role involves assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization and angioplasty, with a focus on EKG monitoring and patient care in a cardiovascular surgical environment.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS/NIH certifications, and is prepared for a fast-paced travel assignment of 18 weeks, 40 hours per week, on days with 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat conditions.
• Support during angioplasty, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
• Maintain and monitor EKG equipment; assist in electrophysiology procedures.
