Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Travel RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in El Paso, TX. The position offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, dayshift, and a focus on cardiovascular surgical support.

The Cath Lab RN will assist during catheterizations and related procedures, work with a skilled team, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment. ACLS/BLS and 1 year of acute care experience are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
• Maintain and monitor EKG equipment and assist in electrophysiology.
