Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Olympia Field, Illinois. The position involves providing care in the cardiovascular lab, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborating with physicians to ensure smooth workflow in the Cath Lab team.

The role requires a BSN, active RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, with at least one year of CV Lab or Critical Care experience. Schedule is days with call rotation on weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) and active RN license.
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) is required.
• ACLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• At least one year of clinical Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for cardiovascular procedures, including room preparation, equipment calibration, supply management, and physiologic data monitoring.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures, document thoroughly, and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians to communicate patient status, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain all required certifications and licensure throughout employment.
