Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Corona, California. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience in a cardiovascular surgical environment and will support physicians during catheterization and related procedures.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts. ACLS/BLS are required, and additional certifications may be needed before starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS are required.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat conditions.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and ICDs.
• Stand for long periods and assist with patient lifting up to 50 pounds; cope with a fast-paced environment.
