Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN Cardiovascular Cath Lab for a 13-week assignment in Ithaca, New York. This RN will work 40 hours per week with a 10-hour day shift, starting 11/16/2026, in a fast-paced acute care Cath Lab setting.

The position requires an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience. The assignment offers weekly pay, housing options or housing allowance, health benefits,

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• The Cardiac Cath Lab RN performs angioplasties, implants pacemakers and diagnoses cardiac conditions with an invasive catheterization procedure.
• Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identify blockages, assisting the physician during procedures, and monitoring the patient’s status at other times.
• Administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures.
