Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in West Islip, New York. The RN will prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, assist during interventions, and monitor recovery, working closely with cardiologists and cath lab teams.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Cath Lab experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and strong communication and safety-focused care.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to procedures and review medical history.
• Assist in positioning and ensure proper ECG leads.
• Assist physicians during catheterization with devices and interventions.
• Monitor hemodynamic equipment and respond to rhythm changes.
• Support post-procedure recovery and care transitions.
