Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Victoria, Texas. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with dayshift hours. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant Cath Lab certifications.

As part of a skilled cardiovascular team, you’ll support physicians during catheterization, angioplasty, and device implantation in a high-paced setting. Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications.
• Ability to meet physical demands in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat conditions.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
