Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Kansas City, Missouri. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week, with 10-hour daytime shifts. The RN should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant cath lab competencies.

The role involves assisting with cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placements and pacemaker/ICD support, while maintaining equipment and patient monitoring in a fast paced cardiovascular setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 4 years of acute care experience.
• Travel assignment familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Support angioplasty, valvuloplasty and stent placements.
• Monitor and maintain EKG equipment in the cath lab.
• Collaborate with a cardiovascular team to provide patient care.
