TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Thornton, Colorado. The role emphasizes assisting in a cardiovascular surgical environment, monitoring EKG equipment, and supporting the physician during catheterizations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies and support cath lab procedures.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat conditions.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and ICDs when required.
