Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. Shifts are 12 hours, days, totaling 36 hours per week in a high-volume academic cath lab.

Requirements include 2+ years Cath Lab/EP experience, ARRT-R or RCIS certification, BLS, and Epic EMR experience; ACLS or RCIS certificates preferred. Scrubs provided and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
• BLS and ARRT‑R or RCIS certification required.
• ACLS, CCI RCES, or CCI RCIS certification preferred.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Experience with EP studies, cardiac ablation, pacemaker insertion, and cardiac mapping preferred.
• Cath lab procedures including PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, and cardiac stent placement.
• IV start/phlebotomy skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedural responsibilities including EKG lead placement, sterile field maintenance, and accurate patient monitoring.
• Participate in electrophysiology studies and cardiac cath lab procedures as part of a collaborative care team.
• Must be available to work 4 out of 8 major holidays, or 2 out of 4 holidays if contract ends before Christmas.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT or RCIS certification for an academic medical center cath lab.

• Academic, tertiary care medical center cath lab department
• Daily caseload per tech varies from 4-16 cases
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 7-8 shifts per month, including 1 weekend
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Epic EMR experience required
