American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in El Paso, Texas. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a Cath Lab setting.

The ideal candidate will have cardiac cath lab and neuro intervention experience, MRT/RCIS/CVT certification, and CPR. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; ARRT is a plus. Assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on days.

Qualifications

• MRT, RCIS or CVT certification required; license if applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Associate's degree in radiology or cardiovascular technology.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital-based acute care experience.
• Cardiac Cath Lab and Neuro Intervention experience required.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must include one supervisory reference.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.
• Reports to the Cath Lab supervisor and works under the guidance of the catheterization laboratory technologist.
• Supports STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions, and balloon pump insertions.
• Circulating experience required.
• Works with a high Spanish-speaking patient population with translator staff available.
