The MIL Corporation seeks a Travel Business Associate (Business Analysis, Associate) to support a Federal Government client at one of our Washington, DC Metropolitan area locations. The role will gather and document travel business processes for an E-Government Travel System, perform analysis on financial and compensation systems, and author requirements documents throughout the project lifecycle.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

  • 7 years' experience with the SDLC or project management.
  • Expertise with E-Government Travel Systems aligned to client needs.
  • Experience researching Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Proj, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication; able to multi-task.
  • Flexible and detail-oriented.

  • Analyze complex problems and document alternate solutions.
  • Perform and document what-if analyses.
  • Elicit and analyze business and system requirements via groups/interviews.
  • Draft requirements and design documents.
  • Draft proposals to resolve issues.
  • Develop and execute test plans; document results.

  • Deliver product management artifacts to align expectations.

Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Travel Business Associate (Business Analysis, Associate) to support a Federal Government client at one of our Washington, DC Metropolitan area locations. The role will be responsible for gathering and documenting travel business processes for an E-Government Travel System, performing analysis on financial and compensation systems, requirements gathering, authoring requirements documents, performing quality assurance testing, and analyzing and reporting the information necessary to support software releases through the project lifecycle.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex problems, develop and document alternate solutions
  • Perform and document results of "what-if" analysis
  • Perform business and system requirements elicitation and analysis via user groups, interviews, regulatory research, etc
  • Draft requirements documents
  • Draft design documents
  • Draft proposals to resolve systems and business process issues
  • Develop test plans, executing manual and automated test scripts and documenting results
  • Work with clients to review test plans to verify adequate coverage of business processes and to ensure the business requirements are satisfied by the system
  • Provide subject matter expertise on software functionality and business processes
  • Provide product management deliverables to aid the project manager and team in establishing shared expectations for a successful project
  • Perform routine monitoring activities and report on the status of the project across all lifecycle phases and at significant milestones

Required Qualifications
  • 7 years' experience with the software development lifecycle (analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, support) or project management
  • Expertise with E-Government Travel Systems and the ability to align travel systems to meet client business needs
  • Expertise researching and applying Federal Travel Regulations
  • Expertise with MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be flexible and have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with CGI Momentum applications
  • Experience with requirements elicitation and analysis
  • Experience in software testing
  • Knowledge of robotic process automation applications (UI Path, UFT)

Clearance

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and be able to upgrade to a Top Secret (TS) clearance as required.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $106,000 - $120,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package. Final salary for this position is determined based on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, and contractual limitations.
