Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, nights from 7 PM to 7 AM, with 12-hour shifts.

The ideal candidate has trauma, burn and surgical ICU experience, an active RN license, and CPR. CCRN certification and a BSN are preferred, and ARMStaffing provides full benefits and support throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have Trauma, Burn, and Surgical ICU experience.
• Current RN license is required.
• CCRN certification is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for critically ill patients in the Burn Trauma ICU.
• Perform wound care, code response, and manage external ventricular drains (EVDs).
• Assist in massive transfusion protocols (MTP) and provide overall critical care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care as necessary.
