Job summary

The InterMed Group is seeking Biomedical Equipment Technicians for Jump Team assignments across the country. This is a contract position offering travel to multiple locations and varied durations, with potential to transition to full-time as opportunities arise.

Ideal candidates hold an AS degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering or a DOD certification, with 1–10+ years in biomedical electronics, hospital/clinical experience, and strong communication and detail-oriented skills.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering or DOD certification.
• 1+ year to 10+ years’ experience in biomedical electronics.
• Experience working in a hospital/clinical setting.
• Strong communications and organizational skills.
• Must have good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory of medical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service medical equipment.
• Travel to assignment locations across the country.
• Jump Team assignments can last between two weeks to several months.
