Job summary

Bestica is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Golden, Colorado. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts and a weekday/weekend call schedule in a dynamic radiology team.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certification, BLS, 1–2 years of vascular/interventional radiology experience, and strong imaging skills. Enjoy a challenging travel role supporting advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of vascular or interventional radiology experience.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience with angiography, vascular procedures, and radiographic imaging.
• Knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and imaging techniques.
• Competency in sterile technique and infection control.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment and maintain documentation.
• Willingness to participate in weekday and weekend call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform angiography procedures and acquire diagnostic-quality images.
• Scrub, circulate, or monitor as per policies.
• Prepare patients by verifying identity and orders; ensure comfort.
• Operate interventional radiology equipment and record data.
• Assist with SIRT mapping, embolizations, nephrostomy and biliary tube placements.
• Support CT-guided procedures, including drain placements, biopsies, and ablations.
• Participate in neuro-interventional stroke procedures and diagnostics.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety.
