TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Anesthesia Technician for a Rochester, NY assignment. The role entails setting up and maintaining anesthesia equipment, supporting various procedures, and ensuring OR readiness.

Requirements include 2+ years as an Anesthesia Tech and BLS certification; preferred are Anesthesia Technologist certification and related education. Schedule is day shift with travel in the unit across the week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as an anesthesia tech.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: Anesthesia Technologist certification & related college/technical education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications & supplies.
• Support difficult intubations and central line procedures.
• Operate cell-saver and support cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic & trauma cases.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot & maintain advanced anesthesia equipment.
• Perform equipment testing, calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Support OR room turnover and anesthesia setup for out-of-OR procedures.
• Assist with staff training and provide backup to the shift supervisor.
