Qualifications

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license required.
• Recent acute-care/hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Hands-on chemotherapy-compounding experience required.
• Strong knowledge of medication safety and clinical pharmacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, interactions, allergies, and dosing.
• Provide clinical pharmacy support to physicians, nurses, and others.
• Prepare, compound, and verify chemotherapy medications using safety standards.
• Monitor therapies and recommend clinical interventions as needed.
• Support safe and effective medication use for acute-care patients.
• Provide drug information and education to patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Follow sterile-compounding, infection-control, and hazardous-drug handling procedures.
• Comply with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes.
