Job summary

StaffDNA® is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join its acute care team in a hospital setting. You will provide specialized therapy to patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or illnesses, helping them regain mobility and independence.

You will assess conditions, design individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care while educating families on mobility techniques and prevention of complications.

Qualifications

• DPT or equivalent required.
• State licensed to practice physical therapy.
• Experience in hospital or acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training to aid recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on techniques for improving mobility and preventing future complications.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
