Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Trauma Surgical GN or RN to provide expert care to trauma and surgical patients on a fast-paced unit.

You’ll perform comprehensive assessments, monitor post-operative and trauma patients, manage wounds, lines, and drains, and administer medications using advanced EMR systems. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri or eligible transfer.
• Trauma care experience preferred.
• Ability to work day or night shifts.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of trauma and surgical patients.
• Monitor post-operative and trauma patients and adjust care as needed.
• Manage wounds, lines, and drains; administer medications.
• Utilize EMR to document care and communicate with team.
