Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative Trauma Surgery team in Denver, CO. This Level I Trauma Center focuses on inpatient trauma and acute surgical care, with opportunities to develop ICU procedures and OR assistance.The role is full-time, permanent, with 12-hour shifts and 147 shifts per year, plus ~3-4 outpatient clinic hours weekly. Competitive compensation starting at $140,000+ annually.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Trauma Surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to trauma and acute surgical patients.
• Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress.
• Assist with the management of high-acuity trauma and surgical cases.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and hospital privileges.
• Assist in the OR as needed.
• Participate in rounds, patient education, discharge planning, and care coordination.
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons, residents, nursing, critical care, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide limited outpatient clinic coverage as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
