Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced Trauma Surgeon to join a Level I trauma center in Arizona. You will lead surgical teams in high-stakes environments, performing complex procedures to stabilize life-threatening injuries and improve patient outcomes.

You will diagnose and treat a wide range of traumatic conditions, provide comprehensive care across inpatient and outpatient settings, and mentor residents and students.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board eligibility/certification.
• ACGME residency in general surgery.
• Fellowship in Trauma or Surgical Critical Care.
• Arizona medical license or eligibility.
• Experience in Level I trauma centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead surgical teams in high-stakes trauma settings.
• Perform complex procedures to stabilize injuries.
• Diagnose and treat traumatic conditions with precision.
• Oversee inpatient and outpatient trauma services.
• Mentor learners and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
