Job summary

LocumTenens.com seeks a trauma surgeon to provide 24-hour on-site call coverage in South Carolina's Lowcountry, joining an established trauma surgery team with ICU and emergency general surgery services.

The clinician will work 10-15 call shifts per month, with APP, nursing, and tech support available to assist during each coverage period. Board certification is required, and dates start November with ongoing coverage.

Qualifications

• Board certification in general surgery is required.
• Experience in trauma surgery and ICU coverage is preferred.
• Ability to respond promptly to trauma activations on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-site trauma call coverage.
• Manage trauma surgery, ICU coverage and emergency general surgery cases.
• Coordinate with APPs, nursing staff and tech support during coverage periods.
