Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group in the Phoenix metro area is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to deliver exceptional care to critically injured patients while contributing to academic programs with Creighton Medical School - Phoenix.

The role features a 1:5 call schedule, fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma, mentoring medical students, and advancing trauma protocols and research alongside a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma.
• Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery with trauma fellowship.
• Active or eligible AZ medical license and ABMS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of complex orthopedic trauma cases.
• Perform specialized trauma surgeries in dedicated OR with 24/7 staffing.
• Collaborate with APP call coverage and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor medical students and participate in trauma care research and protocols.
