• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Board certification or active pursuit of board certification as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialists or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma orthopedic surgical care within a team-based, integrated health system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, agencies and professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
• Participate in call schedules and work toward designated trauma levels as part of program growth.

BSWH is seeking a BE/BC General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our outstanding Orthopedic Surgery program in Pflugerville, TX.

We are looking for a committed team player with a favorable work/ training history. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.

Position Highlights:

• Experienced Trauma Orthopedic Surgeon
• Experience in process improvement is beneficial.

Collaborative team includes:

• 3 fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons specializing in Hand, Sports Medicine, and Joint Reconstruction
• 3 Physician Assistants
• Adding an additional Traumatologist
• Working toward a Level 3 Designation with plans to pursue Level 2
• Call Schedule: Q4 with future plans for Level 3 Trauma Call
