Job summary

Harborview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 6 East Trauma/Orthopedic unit in Seattle. The role involves high‑acuity care for orthopedic injuries and general surgery patients on a 12‑hour night shift, 90% FTE, 7pm–7:30am.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, monitoring, medication administration, and collaborative care planning with an interdisciplinary team. A WA RN license is required; BSN or higher is valued for premium pay. UW benefits apply.

Qualifications

• License to practice as a registered nurse in Washington State.
• Experience in trauma/orthopedic or inpatient acute care preferred.
• Night shift and 12‑hour shifts availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to trauma/orthopedic patients on 6 East Trauma/Orthopedic.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document care in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members to optimize outcomes.
