Job summary

TRIA is seeking an Orthopedic Assistant to support our orthopedic trauma team in the OR, hospital, and clinic settings. Responsibilities include assisting in surgery, casting and splinting, rooming patients, and post-op follow-up with patient education and triage support.

Minimum qualifications include completion of a healthcare-related post-secondary program and CPR certification; 3-5 years orthopedic experience is desired with OR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Completion of a healthcare-related post-secondary education program.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in orthopedic settings and operating rooms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in the OR, hospital, and clinic settings.
• Cast, splint, and prepare patients for procedures.
• Room patients, dress wounds, and provide post-operative care.
